Ceremony & Reception Schedule

2:00 pm – Wedding Ceremony begins at Minote, outside Saint John, NB

2:30 pm – 5:00 pm – Fun at the Lake! Stay and enjoy games, appetizers and a relaxing day. Don’t forget your bathing suit and sunblock!

Dinner will follow at Meenan’s Cove Beach House, 199 Model Farm Road, Quispamsis, NB. Time TBA.

More details on the wedding schedule will be made available closer to the wedding date. If you have specific questions in the meantime please contact us.


Dress Code

The wedding will be a casual summer affair. We want you to be comfortable so please wear whatever makes you happy! Sundresses, skirts, khakis and short-sleeved shirts would all fit right in. There will be games like horseshoes to play and anyone, especially the kids, are welcome to go swimming in the afternoon between the ceremony and dinner so bring your suits! Expect the temperature to dip down in the evening so we suggest you bring something warm to wear later and don’t forget your sunglasses and sunblock.

Special note to the ladies: The wedding will take place on a very uneven lawn. We highly recommend you wear flat shoes or sandals. Wearing even low heels may make this one of the longest days of your life, so please bring a pair of comfortable shoes.

Buffet Dinner Menu

Salad Course

Garden greens with sweet and spicy almonds, cumin gouda, mulled apples, raspberry-apple cider vinaigrette (vegetarian)
Classic caesar salad with hickory smoked bacon, shaved parmesan, garlic croutons, creamy garlic and balsamic dressing (vegetarian alert: no anchovy and bacon on the side)
Traditional PEI potato salad finished with sour cream citrus and chives (vegetarian)


Main Course

Roasted pork tenderloin, marinated with a black bean garlic glaze and served with cran-apple cumin chutney
Roasted triple ‘A’ beef striploin marinated for three days in a ginger-Japanese soya and served with a french pommery-pesto
Served with: local corn with chive butter glaze (vegetarian)


Dessert Course

Zesty lemon tartlets glazed with lavender sugar
Belgian double chocolate sour cream torte with ginger butterscotch sauce


If you are a vegetarian or have special dietary requirements please let us know ahead of time so we can coordinate with our caterer to best meet your needs. A vegetarian main course option will be available for those that have pre-arranged with us.
